We watched this last night, really beautiful! http://www.pbs.org/wnet/nature/episodes/jungle-eagle/full-episode/7324/

I noticed the eagles at high altitude and in the group shot you notice in the upper right is as close as it came down being harassed by an osprey I believe? They really beat up on them I’m told.

Elli mentioned seeing an Osprey give an Eagle a beat down at the Pipeline yesterday, also. How much longer do I have to get down there and see the herons?

  Through May, when the babies are born they hang close learning to fish but with the Herring running it’s really active now. The one white egret seems to be still building the nest so things may still be early. I have a system for catching the close encounter at the moment. The level of the river is a factor and how they fish. It’s easier than photographing a crow but still dicey.
