I’m clueless of how long a friendship with backyard birds will last, the tufted titmouse has been the longest so far as of late.

I love the contrast of texture and light in the titmouse picture. You actually can feel the soft feathery texture of the bird, the rough texture of the wood and assume the moon is smooth as marble (or one of those odd fruits with the smooth pebbly surface, the green one that no one seems to know what it is at the grocery store.) The blue element on the bird and moon make them appear as though they come from the same place, that the bird is simply a visitor here. Very nice composition.
