A fond memory of my mom was when we moved into our home many years ago she inquired “you’re not moving next door to the bird man are you?” Of course we were! He’s long gone but in the day had a bay window of trophy’s from racing pigeons that we had the pleasure to be witness. It’s funny that now I’m the current bird man with the exception all my little friends are wild.
“Give food to the birds, you will then be surrounded by the wings of love, you will be encompassed by the joys of little silent hearts!”

My main concern hasn’t been to photograph as of late but a trip across the river to obtain some VOGELZANG firebricks for our wood stove led me on a mid day walk out onto the nickel bridge with my on going testing of the P300.
This is a pano made in the camera (p300) which I’m not so fond of quality wise.
O3 Book Club (chuckle) pick for the year! I was surprised an old friend (Phd History) had purchased this book a couple of days before the NY Times review at my insistence that it would be brilliant! He had started the new Rockefeller book that he mentioned he wish he had waited because of the scathing review. There were parts he was interested in regardless.
