I received a copy of the complete set of “The Birds of America” by Audubon with the intro by Sibley. My photo above resembles Sibley’s red tail hawk illustration. Audubon has been a candy store of knowledge and composition.

Still life shot during the Superbowl. I did see the last eight minutes of the Sea hawk’s play off game with Green bay and felt that was enough of a dose for the season. I loved playing as a child but have limited interest in following.
There’s no such thing as a “seahawk.”
The Seattle franchise might spell it as one word, but biologists don’t. In fact, they don’t even use the term to refer to one particular species.
