Once called Yanopah (Little Cloud) by Native Americans, the waterfall was renamed Vernal Fall by American troops in 1851.
Found this stereo view at a shop last week.
Wonderful mural by Victor “Marka27” Quiñonez, 6 W. Cary St. RVA. I didn’t catch it in ideal light but enjoyed anyway.
I’ve started using a variable neutral density filter to shoot MORE old school and have found to be getting a slew of side affects while trying to master.
I’ve always preferred Coca-Cola developed by Confederate Colonel John Pemberton, who was wounded in the American Civil War, became addicted to morphine, and began a quest to find a substitute for the problematic opiate. First sales May 8, 1886 It was initially sold as a patent medicine for five cents a glass at soda fountains, which were popular in the United States at the time due to the belief that carbonated water was good for the health. Pemberton claimed Coca-Cola cured many diseases, including morphine addiction, dyspepsia, neurasthenia, headache, and impotence.
Usually the extent of myself catching the edge of a storm while picking up BBQ for dinner.
This is the third time I’ve taken this picture, first during summer, these trees in this hollow of Hollywood Cemetery are gorgeous.
