Two things caught my eye today. I’ve been using a Tokina AT-X 100-300mm 1:4 lens, so I could see this landscape painting with out bothering the artist who was on the phone anyway, chuckle?

good luck

“Frogs have been a symbol of prosperity, wealth, friendship and abundance in many cultures and a symbol of fertility in others. For the Romans, the frog was a mascot believed to bring good luck to one’s home. The native Aborigines of Australia believed that frogs brought the thunder and rain, to help the plants to grow.”
_National Wildlife Federation

The gray treefrog (Hyla versicolor) is a species of small arboreal frog native to much of the eastern United States and southeastern Canada. On our front porch during last night’s storm.

Japanese banana

Musa basjoo, known variously as Japanese banana. Thanks to fellow Artist, Arthur Stephens holding a background and moving a leaf for light we got some great shots of day 20 of the bloom. The banana’s just keep coming.

Modern science says: ‘The sun is the past, the earth is the present, the moon is the future.’ From an incandescent mass we have originated, and into a frozen mass we shall turn. Merciless is the law of nature, and rapidly and irresistibly we are drawn to our doom.

_Nikola Tesla

Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth.
